Joyland will try to accommodate guests with special needs in a responsible manner whenever possible.
In order to go on an attraction you must meet all restrictions, be mentally alert, able to hold on as required without any assistance, be able to enter and exit a vehicle without help from Joyland staff, utilize all safety devices & restraints, and safely evacuate the ride if needed. In order to ride the waterslides, guests need to be able to ascend slide tower steps without assistance from park staff. Joyland management reserves the right to refuse any guest access to an attraction which management deems unsafe for the individual. Park staff is not permitted to, nor trained to, physically assist guests onto or off the attractions.
CREDIT CARDS & ATMs
We welcome VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, and AMERICAN EXPRESS with a valid picture ID, that matches the credit card, for the purchase of entry admissions at the front gate and concessions.
An ATM Machine is located inside the park for your convenience.
While we appreciate the opportunity to work with your organization/cause, Joyland has long-term commitments to several charitable organizations who receive the vast majority of our ticket donations. These charities have been specifically chosen as they have region-wide impact, and help a large number of people.
Any request for donations must be submitted on the official letterhead for the organization to Joyland in advance of the event.
Joyland receives thousands of requests for donations annually and as much as we would like to help each and every cause, we are financially unable to do so. We sincerely appreciate your interest in Joyland and wish your organization/cause all the best.
Use of drones (in, over, or around Joyland), whether for photographic purposes or otherwise, is strictly prohibited (unless the user has been granted written, contractual permission for that specific instance from an owner of Joyland). Violations may subject the user to immediate ejection, confiscation of the drone, and referral of the matter to authorities. Drones are a serious safety hazard to ride operations, park operations (including electrical facilities), and to Joyland’s guests and personnel.
We ask that our guests dress appropriately for our family friendly environment. Shirts, shoes, and shorts/pants are required at all times. Clothing with offensive material, LOGOS or SYMBOLS are not permitted, and we will ask that it be removed, covered up, or turned inside out. Inappropriate attire or clothes that are extremely revealing are not allowed.
First aid is available in the Park Office, located at the back of the main concession. Entry is on the east side of the building.
Line jumping/line cutting or holding places in line are not permitted. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason. Guests who violate this policy may be ejected from the park without a refund.
LOST & FOUND
All items found at the park are turned in to the main office, located at the back of the main concession. Entry is on the east side of the building. If you lose an item while on a ride, we will search for the item as soon as possible, but an immediate search may not be possible. Please visit the main office to report any lost items; leave your name and number and if your item is found after you leave the park, we will be able to contact you.
Joyland is not responsible for any personal belongings; do not leave any items unattended. Be sure to lock your vehicle and hide your valuables.
Parking is free at Joyland. A limited number of spots for guests with disabilities are available and are located near the entrance gate.
By entering the park, guests grant Joyland Amusement Park the right to film, video, record or photograph them on park property for any reason without payment or consideration. No commercial photography of any kind is permitted without prior authorization from management. No cameras (video, still, cell-phone, smart phones, selfie sticks, etc.) are allowed on any rides at any time. No exceptions.
Height and/or weight restrictions apply to a number of Joyland rides and attractions. These restrictions have been put in place for safety purposes and are strictly enforced.
Certain attractions have restrictions based upon height and/or size as well as physical or medical conditions. Signs are posted at the entrance to each attraction that give you guidelines about restrictions and safety. Please follow these rules to ensure a safe experience for you and others. Decide before your ride-watch the ride in operation and read all restrictions before you determine whether a particular ride is really for you.
Guests with recent surgery, heart problems, high blood pressure, neck or back problems, seizures, pregnancy, or have any other condition that may be aggravated by riding must use discretion in selecting which rides to ride. You know your medical history and any restrictions or limitations – the park does not. It is up to you to use good judgment when deciding which rides to ride. If you suspect your well-being could be at risk, or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition, do not ride the ride.
All passenger restraint systems, including lap bars, shoulder harnesses and seatbelts, must be positioned and fastened properly to allow guests to ride. Due to rider restraint system requirements, guests of exceptional size may not be accommodated on some of our rides. Those whose size does not allow for the proper use of safety measures and devices are not permitted. Those with a physical and/or mental disability such that they cannot use the safety devices properly are not permitted to ride.
Smoking is permitted in the park, however, we ask that smokers are considerate of other guests. Smoking in seating areas, Kiddyland, restrooms, ride lines, and under covered structures is prohibited. Smoking policy includes e-cigs/vapor devices.
It is illegal to carry a firearm, deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance anywhere on Joyland property. Unless otherwise authorized by law, no person shall knowingly possess, have under the person’s control, convey or attempt to convey a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance inside Joyland Amusement Park, parking area, or adjoining picnic facilities.

At Joyland, nothing is more important than your safety. Attractions may be shut down due to lightning in the area, strong winds, rain or other weather conditions decided by Park management. The attractions will re-open when park management has deemed it safe to do so.
If park management determines to close the park for the remainder of the day and it is before the park has been open half of the time scheduled, rain checks will be offered. You must still be in the park, and all members of your party must be present. Your wristband will be removed by park staff and you must leave the park upon receipt of the rain check. Rain checks will not be issued to persons that have left the park prior to closure. In the event that the weather improves, and the park is able to resume operation, Rain Checks will not be issued.
